The Jetport Conservation and Recreation Club

The club is located at Everglades Jetport , west of Miami on Tamiami Trail. The most important thing about the Club membership is that virtually everone truly loves the Everglades and the Big Cypress and is personally prepared to work hard to protect it. Members work closely with the Game Department officers in cutting maliluca trees and also hold a Kids' Day event every year to get young children interested in the Everglades. The club members also maintain there custom swamp buggies to help law enforcement, fire and emergency forces in performing rescue work when the need arises in that part of the everglades.
